Born in Japan, Kyoko Kaise began her piano studies at the age of five. She graduated from the Tokyo College of Music High School in 2002, at the Tokyo College of Music in 2006 again in 2008. She continues to study at the Berlin University of the Arts. She is a scholarship student from the Agency of Cultural Affairs as part of the Japanese Government’s Overseas Study Program for Artists.
Ms. Kaise has taken home first prizes from the 1st Tokyo College of Music Competition, the 1st Seiler International Competition, the 74th Music Competition of Japan and the 17th Artur Schnabel Wettbewerb. As a concerto soloist, Ms. Kaise has been heard with the Izu Philharmonic Orchestra and the Numazu Symphony Orchestra.
