National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
Hanqing Chang is a doctoral candidate at the University of Cincinnati, College‐Conservatory of Music, studying with Awadagin Pratt. Ms. Chang has studied at the Sichuan, Tong Siew Toh and Peabody Conservatories.
Ms. Chang has won several competitions including first prize at the 3rd Wiesbaden International Piano Competition in Germany, first prize at the 10th “Xin Hai” National Piano Competition in Sichuan, China, first prize at the 3rd National Piano Competition in Guiyang, China as well as at the 12th Hong Kong Piano Open Competition.
Ms. Chang has appeared in concert venues throughout Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong, Baltimore and Cincinnati. In 2008 she was invited to perform a concerto with the Gui Yang Symphony Orchestra at the National Center for the Performing Arts in Beijing.
